The question “is the law of attraction really universal? ” hit me today as I was looking around on Linked-In, updating my profile and searching out some like-minded people to connect with. I came across a lady named Eva Gregory. This Woman is impressive, and a person I would like to mold and model myself after. Because she is doing what I want to do and help others do as well! Help you connect with your highest purpose! I just feel that is what my purpose is and it tickles me no end to think I could be “lucky” enough to come to this planet and help people remember why they are here.
Anyway, I decided to find out more about her, and went to read her blog. She asked a very interesting question that I would like to expand on! Her question was this: “Do animals use the law of attraction?”
I had to sit for a minute and ponder that question! Because we usually think that animals simply act on instinct. So ask yourself is the law of attraction really universal? How can the answer to this question be “NO” if it is a universal law? It made me really think and ask myself how this law applies in a universal way. Isn’t it interesting how quick we are to make an exception and rule out other possibilities or notice the consequences of our thoughts. I found I had a preconceived notion that Law of Attraction was a “People thing”.
That’s why I had to write about my experience of her blog and my initial reaction to the question. Because it made me notice how easily we just make up our mind of how things are, and dismiss or rule out anything else. Have you noticed this tendency in yourself? What results from that have you experienced? I’d love to hear your comments and stories of a time you can remember how you dismissed an idea based on a belief you had. Then later found out that belief blocked you from a better point of view or life experience.
We all need people who will challenge our ideas and open us up! People who will turn our attention to what we are attracting in our lives and why! We need people who will experiment with their own mind and be curious enough to want to figure out how life REALLY works! And then share their findings with the rest of us so that our lives are the better for that knowledge. I guess I’m just one of those people because I love doing that!
The Law of attraction works best if you study it and play with it as a life long question. “How does this work?” How does it apply to everything universally and without exception?
Let’s take an old wives tale and apply it to the Law of attraction and see how it pans out.
“Birds of a feather flock together” But the question is; why?
The answer is found in the law of attraction because they have the same thought system! A Robin thinks like a Robin and a ROBBER thinks like a robber! So the thought system brings about the reality for each creature, or life form. Not only as a species, but as individuals, based on the personality of that creature!
Have you noticed that every animal has a unique personality? The next thing you may notice, is how other creatures react to an individual creature within its own society. Then on a larger scale how one species reacts or interacts with another. The more similar the thought system is, the more likely they will hang out together! People are not so different from animals as they think they are! Just more arrogant! LOL
So try to take a few days and playfully watch how the law of attraction works in nature. You’ll soon find that James Allen only told part of the story when he wrote the book “AS A MAN THINKETH”. Of course he was focusing on the benefit of writing such a book to get Man to understand himself and align with natural law. Hmmm Seems like a shared purpose!
I’d close by saying “Have a great day” but of course if you understand Law of attraction, then you know you have to think a great day! So go do that! 🙂
