The Law Of Attraction.
Is the Law of attraction is just a belief or a theory that says “like attracts like”?
Is it really possible… that just by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, that we can bring about a positive or negative result? Henry Ford is very often quoted as saying something to the effect of “whether you think you can, or you think you can’t; either way your right!” Smart man!
I’d like to tell you about a very well known, and very well documented study that proves the law of attraction actually works! Have you ever heard of the placebo effect? Remember those studies they did with medication trials? What’s so cool about those studies is that even when the most carefully designed double-blinded studies were done, they almost always came up with very measurable improvements! The people who believed (are we seeing a pattern yet?) that they would be affected positively by those medications actually did better than those who didn’t! Even when they were given sugar pills! The power of belief is amazing!
A similar study I’ll bet you never heard of is something called the nocebo effect. This term was given to side effects of medications that came out of a placebo effect. In other words, negative effects that were due to fear of certain medications. What’s cool about all of this is that, the results of both these studies are actually real! They were very valuable in the study of human psychology and proved that you & I actually DO create through the power of our thoughts!
What we think about actually does becomes manifest!
This has been proven so many times both officially and unofficially by prayer groups, monks, and several “experiments” by the popular radio show “COAST TO COAST”.
So how does all work?
I found by my own studies and observations, of both of myself and other people, as well as through all the reading I’ve done, that the formula for manifestation never deviates. I call this formula T.F.A.R© which stands for:
Thoughts cause Feelings
Feelings cause Actions
So if the results your getting in life are not to your liking, Just get on a R.A.F.T.! Which is simply reversing my T.F.A.R© formula.
By examining your Results, ask yourself; what Actions did you take that caused that result. What Feelings caused you to take those actions? What Thoughts caused those feelings? Then add one more question! How can I change my T.F.A.R© this time!?
By getting on the R.A.F.T., maybe your ship will actually come in! 😉 But you have to row out to that ship and dig for those deeper, and sometimes quieter, thoughts that you didn’t pay attention to the last time!
Sometimes we need help to figure that out. This is where you find out who your true friends are! The ones honest enough to tell you the things you’d really rather not hear. The ones that love you enough to hurt your feelings for your own good, yet not be mean about it. That’s Tough LOVE! Not to mention tough for the friend to want to approach us about it!
But are WE tough enough to let that kind of love in? Not usually! And I’m definitely no exception to that rule!
The truth only hurts because we don’t want to face it. The reason we don’t want to face it, is we hate to be wrong; and hate even more to be told so! We’ll get into all that later.
The question we have to ask is; am I willing to let go of what I’ve been getting, enough to hear the truth so I can get what I want? Or.. Will I define myself as insane by taking the same actions and expecting different results? And then deny the insanity? Hey we all do it! The point is to recognize not only that we do; but HOW we do it!
Life is a series of patterns. Close observation of the behaviors in nature, people and animals will prove this out. For personal growth to happen, we need to observe the patterns in our life that don’t serve our highest good. This the very definition of being aware and what awareness is! Again Seek and you shall find comes into play. The beautiful thing about this promises from GOD is that what we find is always far more than we ever expected or hope for! Beyond our wildest dreams or imagination! Trust me it feels beyond our wildest dreams or imagination too!
Of course there are other factors involved here as well, such as good planning, goal setting etc. But I’m figuring your smart enough to know that stuff or where to find it. Not that your not smart enough to figure any of this other stuff out too! But If your reading this then your trying to improve yourself in some way.
